The Child Welfare League of America has made its complete 140-page A FAMILY’S GUIDE TO THE CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM available in PDF format for download from its Web site at the above link.

The guide is a comprehensive resource that social workers can use to help answer many of the questions families have when they are involved in the child welfare system. It can also serve as a useful resource if you are a new social worker or thinking about a career in child welfare.

Outstanding student applies social work studies to career, volunteer work

Recent social work graduate Delinda Buie already had a fulfilling career as a rare books curator at her university’s library.
